    Performance and Features

    The YJ900SS model (with a dual-layer false-twist device for S+Z strand twisting) is a comprehensive development built upon the company’s original YJ800DS series machines, further enhanced by incorporating the advantages of the YJ1000DSM (electric spindle strand twisting machine)’s dual-layer false-twist device and dual‑belt drive. This model caters to the rapidly changing product landscape of today’s market and the growing demand for small-batch, diverse product lines. The machine boasts the following features:

    1. Vehicle Speed: The designed mechanical winding speed is 700 meters per minute. Due to the specific requirements of the ply‑twisting and elastic‑setting process, the operating speed typically ranges from 350 to 610 meters per minute, depending on factors such as the fineness and thickness of the raw materials, as well as whether the yarn is white or colored.

    2. The false twist is composed of two independent layers, top and bottom. As a result, this machine can not only process S+Z double‑plied yarns; when the market requires single‑filament processing, simply disengaging one of the layers is sufficient, leading to greater energy efficiency and reduced production costs.

    3. The false-twist unit on this model features a working disc with a diameter of φ52 mm (previously φ48), which is significantly larger than before. As a result, the frictional force exerted on the filaments is greater, leading to superior elasticizing performance when processing thicker single filaments into multifilament yarns compared to the previous 800DS model.

    4. It adopts an independent false-twist unit structure for both the upper and lower layers. Unlike previous 800DS models, where the D/Y ratio could only be the same when splicing two filaments, this design no longer allows for adjustments to achieve different D/Y ratios when production processes require varying D/Y values for individual filaments—making it unable to meet current market demands for specialty composite filaments.
    Because the winding bobbin box uses exactly the same components as the YJ1000, it ensures long-term machine stability and extended component life.

    5. Precision Winding: The aluminum alloy bobbin holder utilizes the exact same components as the YJ1000 model, ensuring high rigidity at higher speeds and ultimately guaranteeing precise formation of large winding bobbins.

    6. Direct Drive: The W1 roller, the black roller, and the grooved cylinder all utilize direct drive instead of traditional synchronous belt drive, which reduces noise and minimizes wear on vulnerable transmission components.

    7.
